The pot smoking dog is about to get a US remake. The FX Network has picked up Australia’s very own Wilfred for a US adaptation. The comedy, which has had two seasons on SBS, has won a pilot to be produced by David Zuckerman (Family Guy). But even better, this is only a lead up to the much awaited Series 2 which has already been in production and to be aired soon [...] The cult tv series Wilfred is set to return to television after a long hiatus and I for one can’t wait. Many dog owners insist their pets have human traits. Some even claim they can talk. But few could say their dog smokes bongs, eats nachos, plays pool and can discuss his fear of abandonment [...] |
