Gordon Boyd, one of the stars of Australian TV in the ’60s and ’70s, has died. He was 86. During his heyday, Boyd hosted the nations’s top talent show, Showcase, a precursor to Australian Idol. He also fronted the dating show, The Marriage Game between 1966 and 1972. He also had guest roles in The [...] The Australian Idol Top Ten will be appearing at Federation Square in Melbourne tomorrow for their annual AFL Grand Final visit. Autograph signing will take place at the Atrium at 11:30am followed by a concert at 12:00pm on the main stage, hosted by Ricki-Lee Coulter.
