Seven launches catch-up portal

The Seven Network has launched its catch-up portal, PLUS7.

The site, offering full-shows to be watched online legally, will allow users to stream video without needed to wait for the download to finish.

Titles will remain online at au.tv.yahoo.com/plus7 for between 7 – 28 days depending on rights.

Some of the shows that will be available are 30 Rock, Desperate Houswives, Lost, Grey’s Anatomy, Brothers and Sisters, FlashForward, Private Practice, Heroes, Castle, Better Homes and Gardens, Parks and Recreation and more.

But unlike the ABC’s iView – no ISPs are yet on board for allowing PLUS7 as unmetered content, so watch your download limits.

Also unlike the ABC’s iView, you will have to put up with mid show advertising……..just like real commercial TV I guess.
